The Wilf Campus Writing Center offers a friendly and comfortable environment where members of the YU community seek writing advice and feedback from trained and dedicated tutors. The Writing Center aims to help writers gain the skills and confidence to articulate themselves more clearly in prose. We operate on the principle that a powerful way that people learn to improve their writing is through engagement with others. Respectful of the needs of different individuals, disciplines, and contexts, we facilitate conversations about writing both in the Center and across campus to help writers produce diverse types of texts, whether academic, extracurricular, or professional. Some of our most important conversations take place in one-with-one tutoring sessions that help writers succeed in their own work.
